For the first time ever, Anton Debatin GmbH presented its packaging solutions for labs to an international trade fair audience. Showcasing their most recent innovation, the family-owned company, based in Bruchsal, Germany, attracted scores of visitors to their exhibition stand at MedLab in Dubai.
A huge success from start to finish – that’s how Anton Debatin GmbH rates its first outing as an exhibitor at the international MedLab trade fair for lab technology in Dubai. “Despite being a comparatively small, family-run SME from Germany, and despite having only recently, in the last few years, begun to create our niche in the healthcare industry, we took the plunge. Ultimately, we were encouraged to take this step because our innovations have proven so popular with our customers, and even won the 2024 WorldStar Award,” explains DEBATIN’s CEO Thomas Rose.
Anton Debatin GmbH’s exhibition stand at MedLab exuded an irresistible appeal to visitors thanks to the innovative nature of the company’s packaging solutions for lab logistics. To show people what secondary packaging for lab samples has to withstand in practice, the Debatin trade fair team created a deceptively realistic-looking flow of blood – inside the packaging, of course. But the safety of the packaging wasn’t the only consideration that interested visitors, according to Thomas Rose. They were also impressed by the positive sustainability aspects of Debatin products, and attracted to the ability of the newest innovation DEBAMED® Speci-Sorb to automate lab processes. “Thanks to DEBAMED® Speci-Sorb, highly qualified professionals in labs no longer have to waste time on certain tasks that yes, have to be done – just not necessarily by lab staff,” Thomas Rose explains. Thanks to a patented absorbent coating that’s integrated during DEBATIN’s production process, lab staff are relieved of the laborious step of adding absorbent liners by hand.
Anton Debatin GmbH plans to be back in Dubai in 2025 with another exhibition stand. Why? “Because our experience at this year’s trade fair showed us we have a place on the international market – thanks to our “Made in Germany” products, our innovative strength and our dedication to providing tailored solutions,” says Thomas Rose.
