In a move to unite the combined forces of its brands,Trimco Group has announced the official name change of its A-TEX brand to Trimco Group across all territories, including the sales offices in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands, as well as several of its manufacturing locations such as India and Turkey.
Founded in 1991, in Denmark, A-TEX A/S has had a solid presence in the European market and has been further strengthened in a larger global format as part of the group since 2015. Starting with June 2023, A-TEX has officially changed its name to Trimco Group and will operate all activities under this name in the future.
Brand identity expert, Trimco Group, was founded in 2015 when A-TEX joined a strong partnership with the companies previously known as Clotex (Hong Kong) and Labelon (UK). The partnership took place after the acquisition of A-TEX by the private equity firm, Partners Group, which had, in the years before, acquired Clotex and Labelon. Since 2015, the three brands have come together to create a global partner within brand identity and data management solutions – Trimco Group.
In its current format, the group has a global customer base that benefits from an expanded product portfolio and expertise in design, production, and logistics of brand identity solutions for the textile, footwear, and home textile industries. The group’s services include a wide range of products and solutions, including Trims, Care Labels, RFID, Packaging, Store Deco, and most recently, the group’s unique and innovative Supply Chain Traceability platform, ProductDNA®. This platform has already been adopted by various brands internationally.
Today, Trimco Group is owned by the Canadian private equity firm Brookfield, which has recently acquired the Canadian company Wah Lung Labels as part of Trimco Group’s expansion strategy in North America.
“We have been under the Trimco Group banner for several years now, maintaining the high standards of operations our customers have come to expect from us. The official name change to Trimco Group should be seen as a natural step in the integration, ultimately creating benefits for both customers and suppliers due to our global expertise across the group,” said Benny Nyborg, CCO at Trimco Group. “Our team looks forward to continuing to serve our customers with our high-quality products and wide range of services.”
This official change formally brings together the group’s global presence, already recognized as Trimco Group across many of its trading and production territories, and now these key locations.
