BCMPA promotes benefits of outsourcing in busy autumn show schedule

The BCMPA – the Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment and Logistics, will be highlighting the many benefits of outsourcing at two major industry exhibitions later this month: London Packaging Week and – for the first time – eCommerce Expo, both being held at London’s ExCel.

Representing its 200+ strong membership, the BCMPA’s participation at the two shows presents the perfect opportunity to provide manufacturers, brands and retailers, across a wide range of sectors, with a valuable resource for finding outsourcing partners to relieve existing production or packing pressures, and to provide fulfilment services or facilitate the launch of new products.

Visitors to London Packaging Week on 21st and 22nd September will find the BCMPA on stand A74 and have the chance to discuss their outsourcing needs with the team. They will also be able to meet four exhibiting BCMPA members face to face – Fillcon, Lyte Packaging, PHL Group and Poppypac – with whom they can explore the best 3rd party outsourcing options in contract manufacturing and packing, including the provision of fulfilment and logistics services.

At the eCommerce Expo on 27-28th September, the BCMPA (on stand R35) will be exhibiting alongside members the PHL Group, Whitehouse Solutions and Worldwide Logistics. This respected show enables the BCMPA to promote its members involved in the world of eCommerce and fulfilment and with over 11,000 visitors expected across the two days, promises to be a very exciting event.

In addition, Emma Verkaik, the BCMPA’s CEO, is hosting a panel titled, ‘How to get the best out of your ecommerce fulfilment partner’. This valuable session will see Laura Ball, Business Development Director of the PHL Group and Glenn Hayes, Managing Director of Worldwide Logistics, join Emma to talk around the ways in which 3rd party fulfilment can increase customer satisfaction in any ecommerce or fulfilment experience.

Emma Verkaik sees the Autumn events as the perfect opportunity to promote the growing role of BCMPA members in delivering goods across both traditional retail and eCommerce sectors.

“From innovative manufacturing and packing to fast and efficient eCommerce and fulfilment services that delight today’s consumers, our members provide the essential 3rd party outsourcing options that enable brand owners and retailers to focus on the development and selling of their products,” she commented.

“Both these industry leading shows will enable us to highlight the expertise and experience of our members and the essential services that they offer.”
