Leading multi-format event organiser, Easyfairs has unveiled its most London Packaging Week exciting and diverse line-up to date.
When London Packaging Week assumes its rightful place at the epicentre of the packaging industry later this summer at its brand-new home – the world-famous ExCeL centre in London – it will do so with its ‘biggest ever’ speaker line-up.
Around [at least] 5,000 expected attendees, comprising industry leaders, designers, and passionate individuals, are set to come together on 21 & 22 September to explore the future of packaging.
“Whether you’re a seasoned packaging professional, an aspiring designer, or simply someone passionate about sustainable solutions, London Packaging Week is the event you won’t want to miss,” said Community & Content Manager, Parisa Maleki.

On day 1, Mulberry founder Roger Saul, the man who turned a 21st Birthday present of £500, into one of the 20th century’s most iconic British brands, will be on-stage from 1 pm to 1.30 pm on the show’s Luxury Stage, spearheading Day One’s stellar line-up with his talk titled ‘From one bag to another – a British icons journey from luxury handbags to a luxury farm.’
Fable & Mane co-founder and CEO Akash Mehta takes to the Beauty Stage at 12:30 pm on Day 1 to explain why ‘mindful business’ is crucial to the future of the beauty industry, while Justin Hutton-Penman, Head of Product Innovation, at The Macallan, talks about the role creativity plays in the drinks industry and capturing the spirit behind the whisky, from 3 pm on the Luxury Stage.
Also on day one, Entrepreneurs Marisa Poster and Teddie Levenfiche, who created Europe’s first matcha green tea-powered energy drink, shot to fame earlier this year when they won the backing of Dragons’ Den duo Peter Jones and Stephen Bartlett on the BBC 1 programme.
The dynamic duo will talk about how they changed the beverage game in the past year and global aspirations in their talk ‘Game, Set and Matcha!’ at midday on the Food Stage.
On Day 2, Wellbeing expert Liz Earle MBE, will headline the Drinks & Beauty stage, talking about how she turned her mail-order beauty company into one of the biggest beauty success stories in the world. The beauty Founder’s session from 1 pm to 1:30 pm, titled ‘The Journey of a Multi-Brand Beauty & Wellbeing Founder’, will home in on the power of founder-led brands, take in the trials and tribulations surrounding her eponymous beauty brand founded in 1995, and why age is no barrier to her continued success.
Also on Day 2, Jamie Laing and Ed Williams will step onto the Food Stage (1:15 pm to 1:45 pm) for a ‘Meet the Founders’ interview, discussing their sweet-tasting success with one of the UK’s fastest-growing sweet brands, Candy Kittens.
Elsewhere, the indomitable Jo Stephenson, Managing Director of rising B2B PR firm PHD Marketing, will sit down to quiz Nestle, WRAP and Plastic Bank representatives on a revamp of the events’ usual panel session, ‘The big debate’; The Big Question.
