Colpac has successfully passed its latest BRCGS certification and has achieved an AA rating for the seventh year in a row.
The auditor specifically commented on the condition of its UK factory as being excellent, amongst other very positive praise of its working practices. Colpac achieved zero non-conformances across the two-day audit process.
“This is a fantastic outcome, and down to the efforts of all team members across our sites. It is testament to our hard work and dedication to continually improve and manufacture and source products to global food safety standards,” said Compliance & QA Manager Frances Dickman.
The BRCGS Standard for Packaging Materials is viewed as a global benchmark of quality, safety, and legality for food packaging manufacture. It provides a robust framework for all types of packaging manufacturer in the production of safe and legal packaging materials, and to manage product quality to meet customers’ requirements.

Colpac’s AA BRCGS certification demonstrates continuous and sustained improvement and is highly regarded by retailers and food service organisations. The audit covered its full product range, including those manufactured at Colpac’s factory, and those manufactured elsewhere.
