Southgate Global to exhibit at the return of IMHX

Southgate Global, one of Europe’s leading packaging suppliers, is exhibiting once again at this year’s IMHX, the UK’s premier event for supply chain and intralogistics professionals.

Taking place over three days, from 6th to 8th of September 2022 and held at the NEC in Birmingham, the exhibition brings together professionals who manage, operate and optimise supply chains across the UK.

The event, which last took place in 2019 before the pandemic, will bring visitors together to discuss the latest supply chain solutions, uncover never-before-seen technology and witness educational sessions and thought leadership seminars.

Southgate is set to showcase a brand-new stand, it’s biggest to-date, featuring its vast range of new product launches at the exhibition to potential buyers, generating leads and opening doors with key decision makers.

With a focus on sustainability, products on display will include: the RSW6 Robotic Pallet Wrapper, BP555 Tape Dispenser, U-Boat, Roll Cages, Modular Rack and AirWave. Making its first appearance at IMHX will be three Pacplan Computer on Wheels (COWs).

Darren Smith, Head of Marketing at Southgate, said: “We are really looking forward to the return of IMHX and exhibiting once again. Being able to demonstrate our products to visitors so they can witness first-hand the benefits they can bring to their operations is so important and makes all the difference.

“With the continuous growth of e-commerce driving demand for specialist order fulfilment services, IMHX is the perfect place to showcase all elements of third-party logistics including order picking systems, packaging technology and parcel sortation solutions.”

As an industry leader in the field of sustainable packaging, Southgate is committed to developing alternative products to significantly reduce waste and plastic content and promote the idea of a circular economy.

Darren added: “We look forward to displaying our expanding range as we continue to focus on dramatically improving workflow within the order fulfilment sector, while also minimising costs and increasing productivity for our customers.”

Located on 5F90, visitors will be able to watch the head turning RSW6 Robotic Pallet Wrapper in action this year, ideal for palletised loads that are too large, heavy, or unstable to be wrapped on a traditional turntable machine.

Those looking to boost productivity in the warehouse can visit the PacPlan COWs as well as Roll Cages and U-Boats to optimise space and maximise palletised storage capacity.

Southgate serves over 600 leading distributors across the UK and Europe, with customers specialising in warehousing and logistics.

Southgate has achieved a Silver EcoVadis rating, showcasing its focus on driving sustainability within its business and the wider industry. The rating recognises Southgate’s continued focus on cultivating innovative, eco-friendly packaging alternatives.
